Susan Frailey, BSN RN CGRN

Susan Frailey, founder, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, and has been a practicing registered nurse since 1984. Susan is certified by the American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses and founded the only Board of Registered Nursing approved provider offering education and training in lavage method for bowel preparation.

Susan developed the HydroPrep program for the Gastroenterology department at Barton Memorial Hospital in California, in 2011, and has 30 years experience in digestive health and patient care.  Susan currently operates Colon HydroPrep Solutions, an approved provider for continuing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing. Colon HydroPrep Solutions offers best practices for lavage bowel preparation method for registered nurses and accredited medical facilities. Susan brought lavage bowel preparation to the medical community with her HydroPrep method and program developed for Barton Memorial Hospital in South Lake Tahoe, to help improve outcomes for patients with prep intolerance.3D_book

Frailey also founded More Alive Now to teach others new ways to choose nutrition for gut-health and lifelong vitality. She lectures on health and wellness topics including her first book, More Alive Now: Simple Nutrition to Change Your Life, as well as More Alive Now: Boost Your Immunity with Probiotic Foods, More Alive Now: Making Probiotic Foods, and Lavage Bowel Preparation: An Integrative Approach to Bowel Cleansing Success.
